Das Internationale Performance- und Tanzfestival des performance art depots geht 2019 in die elfte Runde! Wir, das pad-Team, laden also wieder Künstler von überall aus der Welt ein um auf unserer Bühne in Mainz von April bis Mai 2019 zu performen. Wir bieten:

• Ein einzigartiges internationales Festival, welches zwar klein im Umfang ist aber hoch im Kurs steht und eine gastfreundliche Atmosphäre hat. • Die Bühne und das Team des performance art depot. Das pad ist ein außergewöhnlicher und wunderschöner Spielort mit einem engagierten Team. Es ist einerseits Produktions- und Aufführungsstätte des Künstler-Duos Schmitt&Schulz und andererseits eine Plattform um experimentelles Theater, Tanz, Performance, Live Art und anderer Formen zeitgenössischer Kunst. • Ein interessiertes und offenes Publikum. Außerdem werden Presse genauso wir Kuratoren und künstlerische Leiter anderer Festivals und Spielorte werden eingeladen. • Eine kleine Gage und die Übernahme von günstigen Reisekoten. Außerdem sorgen wir für Unterkunft und Verpflegung.

Wir suchen: • Ungewöhnliche Performance Projekte mit unterschiedlichen künstlerischen Hintergründen. Diese können Licht und Ton oder Videokunst, digitale Kunst, Multimedia beinhalten und/oder im körperlichen, in einer Choreographie oder Tanz fundiert sein. • Produktionen, die auf eine ungewöhnliche Bühne anpassbar sind und einen einfachen technischen Aufbau haben. • Kleine Gruppen, die im besten Fall nicht aus mehr als 5 Personen bestehen. Bitte seit darauf vorbereitet mit Billig-Airlines oder anderen günstigen Reisemöglichkeiten anzureisen.

Bewerbungen können per E-Mail an die untern stehende Adresse geschickt werden. Sie sollten einen kurzen Lebenslauf oder eine Beschreibung eurer Gruppe beinhalten, eine Projektbeschreibung und eine online Videodokumentation eures Projektes beinhalten – am besten längeres ungeschnittenes Material oder einen Komplettmitschnitt. Call for Artists: International Performance & Dance Festival The performance art depot' s International Performance & Dance Festival is going into its 11th season in 2019! We, the pad team, again invite artists from all around the world to perform on our stage in Mainz, Germany, between APRIL to beginning of MAY, 2019! We offer: • A unique international festival that is small in scale but high in profile and welcoming in atmosphere. • The performance art depot’s stage and team. pad is an extraordinary and beautiful independent venue with a committed team, both homebase to artists Schmitt&Schulz and a platform for introducing innovative, experimental theatre, dance, performance, live art and other forms of contemporary performing arts. • An interested and open audience. Press as well as curators and artistic directors of other festivals and theatres will be invited. • A modest performance fee and travel expense allowance. We also take care of accommodation and catering. We look for: • Unusual performance projects with diverse artistic backgrounds: They may rely on light and sound or include video art, digital art, multi-media and/or be grounded in the physical, in choreography or dance. • Productions that are adaptable to an unusual stage with basic technical standard. • Small teams that should ideally consist of no more than five people. Please be prepared to travel via low price airlines or other low cost travel opportunities.
