ARTLAKE FESTIVAL 2020

Festival: 06. – 09. August 2020

This years Artlake festival is dedicated to the overarching topic ACT WOW!

After we discussed at last years Artlake Festival how a solidaric future could look like our focus for 2020 is to ACT WOW!
We have to take radical steps to receive a significant transformation of our future. We all have to be role models and act as a collective society. We must become aware of our responsibility, that we must pave the way to a livable world. So let’s come together to develop strategies under this topic within the different dimensions, disciplines and formats. Let us make a change in our behavior and discuss how to act now and at the same time act wow.

Submitted projects should engage with it with different artistic or discursive approaches and interpretations. Formats may range from performance, exhibition, installation, lecture, debate to workshops and many more.

Every application should contain the following:

1. Detailed written outline of each project including pictures (if available)
2. Cost calculation
3. Technical requirements
4. Short portfolio and/or references of previous realized projects

Artlake Festival is a self-organized, independent festival of culture and arts and accordingly limited in its financial resources. Although all contributions to the festival are intended to be refunded fairly, we would like to draw your attention to these circumstance in the course of your application.

Submissions will be accepted from November 11th, 2019 until March 1st, 2020.
