Die Kunstausstellung f l u e n t wird eröffnet am 09.11.2018 in Osnabrück. Dabei möchten wir queere Künstler*innen einladen sich mit künstlerischen Positionen zu bewerben, die inhaltlich um die Dekonstruktion von Geschlecht sowie queeren Identitäten kreisen. Sowohl politische als auch gesellschaftliche Themen werden subjektiv hinterfragt. Der Begriff f l u e n t beschreibt den fließenden Prozess jeglicher Identitätsbildungen ohne sich im gesellschaftlichen Konstrukt der Binarität verorten zu müssen. So auch verstehen wir queer nicht nur als eine Abweichung von Heteronormativität, sondern als Infragestellung der Binarität an sich. Gezeigt werden zeitgenössische Werke neuer Medien (Photographie, Performance, Installation, Objekte, Videokunst & NetArt) von & über LGBTIQ* (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Inter* und Queer). Mithilfe kultureller Förderungen werden die Künstler*innen honoriert.Wir freuen uns auf eure Bewerbungen.

The exhibition f l u e n t will open in Osnabrück on the 9th November 2018. We invite Queer artists to submit artistic positions that revolve around the deconstruction of gender and deal with the topic of queer identities. Political and social topics are subjectively questioned by the artists. The term f l u e n t describes the fluid process of any form of identity without locating in the social construct of binarity. We understand queer not only as a deviation from heteronormativity, but also as a questioning of binarity itself. Contemporary works of new media (photography, performance, installations, sculpture, video art & netart) by & about LGBTIQ* (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Inter* and Queer) can be submitted. The artists will be rewarded by cultural funding. We are looking forward to your artistic applications.
