EXPERIMANCE FESTIVAL 2025 23. – 25.05.2025 in Saarbrücken [GER]

For the Experimance Festival 2025, we are looking for artistic contributions in the fields of sound art and experimental music.

Applications are welcome from solo artists and/or groups. Please read the call for entries carefully.

1. SOUND ART IN PUBLIC SPACE Artists/groups working in the fields of installation-based sound art and sound objects. The artwork will be exhibited in the public space at Kulturgut Ost. Factors such as weather conditions and theft protection must be considered. Please do not submit visual artworks involving projections or mapping. Exhibition Setup: May 21 & 22, 2025 Exhibition Duration: May 23–25, 2025 Exhibition Takedown: May 25 & 26, 2025 2.

CONCERT & PERFORMANCE Artists and groups presenting sound art, experimental music, or performative works. Please do not submit jazz proposals.

3. WORKSHOP & LECTURE Interactive workshops or educational lectures on sound art and experimental music.

4. DJ & LIVE-SET Electronic music and live performances for the club night.

FURTHER INFORMATION Financial compensation will be provided in the form of honoraria. The exact amount will be communicated in April 2025. Travel and transport costs can be reimbursed up to €150. Accommodation will be organized and provided by the festival.
